Opposite we have West Bexington takes you to Chesil Beach which is renowned for its mackerel fishing and also its nature reserve. Chesil Beach runs from Portland to West Bay.

Places to Explore around West Dorset
Abbotsbury sub-tropical Gardens & Swannery 3 miles away, it is worth a visit to these beautiful gardens, the enchanted illuminations are well worth a visit. Also the Swannery where you can see the cygnets hatching and walk amongst a colony of mute swans and help to feed the swans between 12 and 4pm daily.
Hardy’s Cottage, one of the many National Trust Properties in the area, is an 1800s cottage where Hardy grew up – amongst a history of smuggling and intrigue.
Bridport & West Dorset Golf Club is 10 minutes away
Bridport is a 15 minute drive – a busy market town with markets on Wednesday and Saturday. Dorchester also has a market on Wednesday and Prince Charles’s Poundbury has a wonderful Farmers Market on the first Saturday of each month.
